Standard Mental Health First Aid Course: Face to Face (Two Days):
The standard MHFA course was developed in partnership with the University of Melbourne and is based on expert consensus of what constitutes best practice in providing mental health first aid support, to assist someone who may be developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.

BLENDED MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID COURSE TRAINING OPTIONS:
Blended Online (eLearning & Zoom) OR, Blended Face to Face (eLearning & Face to Face) : The Blended Online Mental Health First Aid Workplace Courses have been adapted from the Standard Mental Health First Aid Course for adults. In these informative and practical courses, you will learn about the signs and symptoms of common and disabling mental health problems in adults, how to provide initial support, where and how to get professional help, what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective, and how to provide mental health first aid in a crisis situation using a practical, evidence-based action plan.
These blended courses are workplace focused. Through relevant information, scenarios and exercises, participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed to help colleagues, clients and other workplace contacts, who may be developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. It also covers how to connect people needing assistance to existing workplace supports as well as external professional support.
